Let’s take a closer look at the new improved Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Probio Ampoule 2019.
The Missha Time Revolution line is one of Missha’s absolute best and most popular best-selling serums, and a cult classic in Korea, the U.S. and in Europe by now. With a full 10 million serums sold worldwide and no wonder. Initially, Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Ampoule was actually launched as a more affordable dupe for the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair. The exact same key ingredients at a fraction of the price. Since then, Missha’s serum is one of the most well-known anti-age serums both inside and outside of Korea. And now the 4th generation is finally here, Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Probio Ampoule. The new formula 2019 is more concentrated than ever. So, what’s the difference compared to earlier serums?
I admit, I’ve bought more than one bottle of this Korean anti-age serum over the years. And when I was 38, I actually lost a wrinkle when using the Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Science Activator Borabit Ampoule. See authentic before and after images here. In the image above, Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Ampoule about 4 years back until today. The new Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Probio Ampoule 2019 is seen on the right.
It’s said that the new improved Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Probio Ampoule is even more concentrated, and more effective targeting wrinkles and lines than the original serum. With probiotic ingredients 10 times stronger, and a highly concentrated anti-age formula, the new Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Probio Ampoule is truly groundbreaking. This powerful serum works even better against wrinkles, it provides firmer skin and improves skin elasticity. The key ingredient is, just as before, fermented yeast that helps cell renewal, counteracts wrinkles, and brightening the skin providing new healthy radiance. The serum is also targeting pigmentation and age spots. I have compared the new Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Probio Ampoule with Missha’s previous serum, and here’s the result.
New Missha Probio Ampoule VS Missha Original Ampoule
Missha has really outdone themselfes with this new formula 2019. The new Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Probio Ampoule contains more than 50% bifida ferment lysate, which is 10 times more than the previous Night Repair Borabit Ampoule serum which only had 5%. The new Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Probio Ampoule is also produced by Missha’s unique fermentation process Pro Ferment Ξ± β’. A so-called “Hot & Cold Double Fermentation Process”. This helps to maximize the absorption of the product deep into the skin where the concentrated skin care ingredients become as effective as possible. The 10 different Lactobacillus components also target damaged areas of the skin.
Both of these serums come in glass bottles with pipette droppers. The size and the proportions of the bottles are very much identical. The new Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Probio Ampoule 2019 has a gradient going from purple to beige gold and the bottle just feels so stylish and luxurious. The lid is in dark purple metal (seen to the right in the image). The original serum Missha Borabit Ampoule came in a bottle with a purple / pink gradient with gold details (to the left in the image).
If we look more closely at the product itself, there are some minor differences, although these serums are still very similar. The new Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Probio Ampoule is slightly brighter and paler in color than the original. A light brownish color. The original serum Missha Borabit Ampoule is slightly darker in color and more golden. The texture is also different. The new Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Probio Ampoule is a little bit thicker than the original. The new serum is somewhat firmer and more “gel-like”, while the old serum is slightly more fluid. And the scent? I personally find that the old Missha Borabit Ampoule serum smells a bit like rubber, while the new Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Probio Ampoule has this very faint scent of citrus if I try to explain. The new serum therefore feels more fresh.
The new Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Probio Ampoule 2019 has very good absorption, just like the original. The skin feels hydrated, slightly moisturized and sticky after application. I would describe the new Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Probio Ampoule as a medium-thick serum, it’s neither light nor heavy. A nice serum suitable for most skin types. Especially mature skin targeting wrinkles, lines and signs of aging. I think this affordable anti-age serum is simply awesome!
The new serum is slightly thicker in texture, more “gel-like” and the scent is nicer. The new Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Probio Ampoule simply feels more lux. The original serum is a little bit more fluid and has a slightly more golden tone. Over all, the new serum feels fresher and nicer I think. And given the super improved formula, it’s not a difficult choice. Both serums cost about the same, 20β¬ with free shipping from Korea and worth every penny if you ask me.
