FIRST IMPRESSION review Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream Blooming Fit foundation Korean makeup skin care K-beauty Europe

FIRST IMPRESSION: Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream Blooming Fit

My expectations for Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream Blooming Fit was quite high because of the hype around BB creams from Korea!

Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream Blooming Fit feels like a thin, light foundation in texture. A little goes a long way, and the product doesn’t crease up in wrinkles and lines much. Pretty light coverage but evens out the skin tone nicely. Skin feels fresh and glowy. But you must have pretty good skin to begin with. Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream Blooming Fit is not exactly a good product for those who want to cover up acne and pimples.

I have some pores on my cheeks and nose which Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream Blooming Fit did cling onto. I got small dots of BB cream stuck in my pores. But I rubbed lightly with my fingers to even out the product, even across the pores. You can also use a damp beauty blender to even out the product after application.

On dry mature skin: When I first applied Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream Blooming Fit with my fingers, I felt like the product ended up as a film on top of my skin. But after I was finished with the application, the product acutally looked and felt great on my skin. I have dry mature skin without any blemishes. (see image)

On combination skin: My sister, however, who have young combination skin felt that Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream Blooming Fit became too dewy and shiny on her skin. She even felt cakey applying too much product. This product is thin and light, and a little goes a long way. But for oilier skin types, you definitely have to set this BB cream with powder. (If you don’t like the shiny greasy look)

The result on the skin is very natural with Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream Blooming Fit. Moist and “dewy” finish with a glow, and certainly not matte. If you want a light coverage which looks natural on the skin, this Korean BB cream might be something for you. Mild scent of skin care. I think I used the color N02 Light Beige? Images below. I have typically nordic light skin, and the color was perfect for me. (I use MAC NC15)

After a full day, I didn’t have much BB cream left on my skin. And after 6-8h, Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream Blooming Fit had a tendency to crease around the eyes. Not much at all but worth mentioning. (I didn’t use any primer or powder at all though). A really nice BB cream for everyday use. But this product didn’t last very long on its own, pulling down the rating. Suitable mainly for mature, normal and dry skin because of the dewy finish. You can of course use a setting powder to make it last longer and get a more matte finish. This product is not suitable for oily skin at all, and certainly not skin with very large pores.

If you are looking for a hydrating BB cream with natural dewy finish, Korean Etude House Precious Mineral BB Cream Blooming Fit might be something for you. 10 euros for a full size product. Very cheap and affordable!
