My Korean skin care routine – 100% products from Korea!

Today, I thought I’d share my own Korean skin care routine with you guys. I use a lot of K-beauty products that I switch between depending on my skin’s needs and my mood…

If you follow my blog, you probably already know that I have dry mature skin with wrinkles and lines. My skin is not very sensitive, which is good when I get the chance to test out so many different products from Korea. So far, it’s all good, no break outs or other major problems. Some skin care products end up in my skin care routine, others I test for a shorter period of time often together with my sister. Then I share our reviews and move on to the next product for testing. Here’s my current Korean skin care routine, or at least all the products in my bathroom cabinet right now … A LOT – I admit!

I have an absolute blissful mix of skin care products in my bathroom cabinet right now. But one thing’s for sure, they’re all 100% Korean products! Many products come from previous collaborations with, for example, Eleven and Sephora, as well as from my own private orders from Korea which you saw a glimpse of last week… OMG I hope I haven’t forgotten anything, there are so many products you guys!

The most expensive product is around 25 euros and the cheapest one is like 1 euro / pc (sheet masks). This is what I call affordable skin care!

I basically have over 50 Korean sheet masks in my stock right now, and those I use vary constantly. It depends on collaborations, trends and simply what I can get hold. If you want to know more about some of my favorite sheet masks, then check out my best of beauty sheet mask-special here. Sheet masks are the frosting on the cake in skin care I feel. That little extra something to add in any skin care routine any day any time for deep care. I love it! Below some of the sheet masks I brought with me to Spain.

To be clear, I don’t use ALL these Korean products at the same time. I’m switching depending on my skin’s needs and my mood for the day. Some products I only use in my morning routine (for example SU:M37 Cleansing Stick) and others in my evening routine (för example sleeping masks). But to sum it up, all of these Korean products keep a good quality in my opinion. They do the job and they are definitely worth buying and testing. Each and everyone of them except for Klairs Gentle Black Deep Cleansing Oil which I gave low ratings in my review here. But I’m still struggling with that bottle because I’m too cheap to throw products away. But when I can’t take anymore, I’ll give the bottle to my sister to test…

What does your bathroom cabinet look like? Do you like to test new skin care products, or do you stick to the same skin care routine year after year? Feel free to share and comment.

  1. Hello,

What would you suggest for 50+ combination skin. No dark spots, a little under eye puff.

  2. Hi Maria,

You seem to have very good skin, no dark spots congratulations 🙂
I would suggest deeply nourishing anti-age products for night (a proper face cream) and ligher products for the day (a lotion/gel cream). I like the Missha Time Revolution Line. Sulwhasoo is a very good brand that many Koreans use for generations, I like the Revitalizing line, the first care activating serum EX is also very nice. There are a lot of different products for lifting and firming from Sulwhasoo, check out that brand. Innisfree Perfect 9 Repair Eye Cream Total anti-aging skincare line might be interesting. Panda’s Dream So Cool Eye Stick is a cooling eye stick that is supposed to reduce puffyness, very cheap too. Also check out the SU:M37 Extreme Time Control line targeting mature skin 40-50+. Match the eye-cream with the face cream I would say, and maybe try eye masks for reducing puffyness even more…
I hope you’ll find something nice, feel free to get back to me with an update <3
    Have a great day
